1:56 The 10 years since this comment have aged it like milk since they did an entire expansion around the shadow lands that was varied enough in looks (despite the prevalent undead/necropolis look to many zones) and also how much the felfire burning legion look was used for Legion as well as the "subterranean" theme of the upcoming expansion's zones. The locations we've seen of the dream in Legion and Dragonflight have proved that you CAN have many areas set within the emerald dream that can stage leveling zones. If they had done an emerald dream expansion they could have done the typical dream way forest we've seen, lush dense jungles, prairies, looks at what coasts and mountainous terrain look like in the dream, perhaps even arctic or desert locations as they can be plenty biodiverse and necessary for the planets overall health, ultimately capping off with an entire zone based on the emerald nightmare.
